1. Introduction
CatwalkLive ("the App", "we", "our") is a mobile application for discovering fashion. You can watch runway shows, browse a feed of style clips, like and save looks, follow designers, and set reminders for upcoming shows.
We are committed to your privacy. Your profile, saved and liked looks, followed designers, reminders, notes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect, transmit, or store this personal data on our servers.
2. Information We Process
The App processes the following categories of information, stored locally on your device:
- Profile data: your chosen display name, handle, and profile photo.
- Activity: looks you like or save, designers you follow, and shows you set reminders for.
- Notes: personal notes you write or dictate for a show.
- Moderation: the list of accounts you have blocked.
- App settings: onboarding completion status and preferences.
None of this data is transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.
3. On-Device Storage
Your preferences, saved and liked looks, followed designers, reminders, notes, profile photo, and block list are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. No personal data is uploaded to any server or cloud service.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed. We cannot recover it because we never had access to it.
4. Camera, Microphone & Photos
- Camera & Photo Library: used only when you choose or take a profile photo. The photo is saved locally on your device and is never uploaded.
- Microphone & Speech: used only when you dictate a note for a show. Speech is transcribed to text on your device; no audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
- No recording: the App does not record video or audio at any time.
These features are optional. Denying a permission disables only the related feature and does not affect the rest of the app.
5. Content & Moderation
CatwalkLive shows fashion content such as runway clips and looks. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You can report any post, look, or comment, and block accounts you do not want to see. Reports are reviewed and acted on, and violating content or accounts are removed. Your block list is stored on your device so blocked content stays hidden.
6. Advertising & Measurement
We may use advertising and attribution partners to measure the performance of marketing campaigns (for example, to understand which ad led you to install the app). With your permission, a device advertising identifier (IDFA) may be shared with these partners for measurement.
- App Tracking Transparency: on first launch the App asks whether you allow tracking. If you decline, no advertising identifier is shared.
- Aggregated measurement only: partners receive campaign and device-level measurement data; we do not sell your personal data.
You can change your tracking choice at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
7. Notifications
With your permission, the App can send notifications — for example, a local reminder before a runway show you saved, or updates about new content. Show reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings.
8. Device Permissions
- Camera: to take a profile photo.
- Photo Library: to choose a profile photo from your gallery.
- Microphone & Speech Recognition: to dictate notes by voice.
- Notifications: to deliver show reminders and updates.
- Tracking: to share an advertising identifier for campaign measurement (optional).
All permissions are optional and can be changed at any time in your device's Settings.
9. Your Choices
- Edit profile: change your display name or photo from the Profile tab.
- Manage activity: unlike, unsave, and unfollow at any time.
- Blocked accounts: review and unblock from Profile > Safety.
- Revoke permissions: disable camera, microphone, photos, notifications, or tracking in Settings.
- Uninstall: deleting the app removes all local data permanently.
10. Children's Privacy
CatwalkLive is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in app features or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
